Antiques of the Abyss - The Lenzkirch Advent Kickstarter!

 We have an ominous Advent calendar, an animated tale of Christmas gone badly wrong. Turning virtue into vice over 12 days but we need your help to make this happen! 

"Is your life dull, predictable and old hat? Does your soul lack its former luster and shine? It does? Well, fear no more, because you have now definitely arrived in the right place! Welcome to a new diversion and perversion that will let you in to explore the dark chambers of your deepest, most secret desires. But don't fret because it's humorous too! Oh yes! For this is Christmas in the Hell you've always wanted! The tale of the Lenzkirch is an intense story designed to delight,frighten and enlighten. It's all about a very unique Advent calendar purchased in an old curiosity shop,that is rumored to possess (or be possessed by) powers to bestow gifts that free and heal the soul. At a price of course".

The Lenzkirch Advent is a joint collaboration from Tim Dry, Eric Fabiaschi, and Eric Gross. Pooling three creative talents to produce the "Anti-Advent." 

The Pitch : 

This is the story is of a good man who becomes transformed from his rigid lifestyle and crosses lines until they become nothing but a blur as he rapidly descends into the darkness without hesitation.

Slowly the Lenzkirch manifests itself over twelve days to show who the true master is. It presents its rare fruit to taste and savor, but these gifts come with a lofty price.  And when their effects wear off, they leave you anxious for the next day with pangs of withdrawal eating away at your soul.

Discovered in an old curiosity shop the Lenzkirch makes itself comfortable in its new home. Upon attempting to open the first window a treasure is offered up in exchange for the smallest drop of blood. But the Lenzkirch now begins to slowly work its magic in small imperceptible ways at first.

Each day the Advent rewards, but unseen, it also takes it's payment. And what is being gifted and claimed is not of a physical nature that a value can be placed upon.

Little by little the man is given back that which he has lost until the last window is opened on the twelfth night...

The .45 slug impacted the malformed and delicately stitched skin of the demon. The skin and skull beneath collapsed into itself as ripe rotten fruit left out in the hot sun. The whole thing melted and ran like a ice cream special from a Summer's day into a nearby gutter. The blue of the mysterious fluids that preserved and gave the thing life bubbled one last time. The corpse melted with gusto. Shulalarolan allowed himself a smile of some satisfaction. 

After 200 years of the "Crippled Gods" hospitality it was time to see what the world had to offer. He summoned the Configuration at his side and merged with it. The paths of darkness spun themselves out before him. Now it was time to find what had happened to his ship. One step at a time he thought. 

But he was free now. Free of the dogma, the pseudo mummery that passed for religion, and the tortures of small minded demons whose flesh was teased and stitched beyond all hope. He allowed himself a smile for the first time in centuries as he stepped on to he paths.

The clowns had found him and were on his trail again. 

Shulalarolan tore through the road between universes as quick as his four legs could carry him. They had found him after his fangs had consumed the caretaker's soul in the graveyard of the ancient gods. The humanoid born of incubus and daughter of eve's soul rested within his diseased gullet nurturing his power and thrice damned remains that passed for his own soul.

His rat- wolf form gave him a glittering series of sense shattering impressions and allowed him to lose them in the half formed nightmares that passed for dreams these days. The Colt 1911's and the crystal skull were now a part of the non flesh that formed his other self. These waited else when. Ready at the beckoned call of this creature from out of the most ancient of legends and magic induced hallucinations. 

On wards along the road between places Shulalarolan The Wanderer raced against the coming of Paradise's dawn. The light of heaven shall not find me. "Rahab's brood will not catch me and I will slip through the cracks of these worlds once again" he thought as he raced onward. Ever onward.

These stories are inspired by the music of Tim Dry. And the artwork of Eric Gross from the Followers of the Pandorics. They'll be appearing in the next issue of Protodimension magazine along with the world of

The Toy Maker's Magnum Opus ~ Act 1 Kickstarter

A kick starter for one of the projects that I'm involved with. The Toy Makers Magnum Opus Act One -  A beautiful handmade art book of Pandoric puzzle designs illuminated with metallic foils, printed on parchment & vellum, & a cast cover.

My friend and writer/artist Eric Gross has been working on this for a very, very, long time. From the Kickstarter:

"Over twelve years ago I started creating the Pandorics. For those unfamiliar, a Pandoric is a word I coined to describe the beautifully intricate puzzle like works of art that when solved open gateways sometimes to Heaven, sometimes Hell, sometimes there are worse alternatives. "

Making it’s debut December 26th at Midnight, The Lenzkirch Advent.
Created by Tim Dry, Eric Fabiashci, and Eric Gross. This collaboration encompasses original music, research, and animations bringing a new level of story telling to the Pandoric histories.

We were fortunate enough to enlist the talented Mr. Dry, writer, actor, and musician to be open to working with us on a project. After many discussions, we all decided that doing a Christmas Pandoric is just what would start the year off to a good start.

The task, monumental. Involving all our combined efforts around the clock to produce the twelve (12) days of the Anti-Advent. Mr. Dry was able to set up a photo shoot to time with the writer/researcher Eric Fabiashi who began the task of culling the web for information regarding everything pertaining to Advents and the outline for the history of the advent. What they both came back with was monumental. Combine this with the lightning Photoshop skills on hand and the whole effect is staggering to behold.

For Twelve days starting on December 26th at Midnight, one day to the Advent will be added and view-able each day. This is not a simple story to read and walk away from. This is to be experienced. But, Mr. Dry has also upped the ant-(advent) by crafting a truly disturbing tale of the Advents dark history."
